// This event was in aid of the charity Friends of Poole Park. Though the event is free entry,

// Us4//U2 performed at Brands Hatch on Sunday the 9th April 2006 on the
day of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship as seen on ITV1.

// We were outside on a balcony over looking the start line of the track and facing the main
seating stands.

// It was mostly a cloudy/windy day and as we were elevated up on a viewing area IT WAS FREEZING!
Luckily we were only required to play 3xsingle songs and 1x25 min set.
I have to say this has to be the coldest gig to date! Our hands were turning blue!
Having said all that we had a great day watching all the days races in our own private suite B11
which over looked the track giving us a birds-eye view of all the action.

Stuarts boss, Jonathan Palmer (Ex Formula One racing Driver)
was spotted taking some snap shots of Us4//U2.

// Us4//U2 received the best Chistmas present from ITV1, London Studios.
The DVD footage of the OFI Sunday Pilot Show filmed on 6th Nov 2005 arrived throught the post
on Christmas Eve!!

// ITV1 Bosses axe the Battle of the Tribute Bands slot on OFI Sunday!

// Us4//U2 received the dissapointing news on Mon 14th Nov.

// Chris Evans invited Us4//U2 to PLAY on his pilot show.
We spent the whole day @ ITV1 London Studios on Sunday 6th Nov
so that we could take part in the dress rehersal for the pilot shoot.
At 9pm on the Sunday evening Us4//U2 took part in a 45min pilot filming of the show
where we performed LIVE in front of a full audience, Chris Evans and his Special Guest.
After the show we made our way to the green room where Chris Evans and everyone
met for drinks to discuss the evening.

// We are hoping we can get hold of the video footage from the pilot show as promised
by a UMTV representative so that we can put this on our website for all you Us4//U2 fans to see.
We were told that the producer of OFI Sunday had recently worked with U2 @ the MTV awards
and from the video footage we saw of Us4//U2 it was amazing!!

// All in all the lads are dissapointed but would like to thank Chris Evans, Ed & Thom and all @ UMTV
for the opporunity to be involved in the pilot shoot as we have all had a GREAT experience.
